Home / About / What We Believe
We believe the Bible is true, Jesus changes lives, and everyone is welcome to come as they are. Below is a more detailed look at the beliefs that guide our church.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God… the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
II Timothy 3:15–17; 1 Peter 1:23–25; Hebrews 4:12
There is one true God… eternally self-existent and revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28:19
Man was created good, but fell through sin. Redemption is found only in Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:26–31; 3:1–7; Romans 5:12–21
Conditions to Salvation: Salvation comes through grace by faith in Jesus Christ.
Evidences of Salvation:
Baptism is a public declaration of faith… symbolizing death and resurrection with Christ.
Communion is a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His return.
Believers are promised the baptism in the Holy Spirit… empowering them for life and ministry.
The Holy Spirit’s work is evident through spiritual power and transformed lives.
We are called to live holy lives… set apart for God through the power of the Spirit.
We believe marriage is between one man and one woman and that God’s design for sexuality is found in Scripture. We are committed to upholding both truth and the dignity of every person.
We believe life begins at conception and is a sacred gift from God.
The Church is the body of Christ… called to worship, grow, and fulfill the mission of Jesus.
We are called to share the Gospel and build up the body of Christ.
Healing is provided through Christ and available to believers.
Jesus will return… and this is the hope of the Church.
Christ will reign on the earth… fulfilling God’s promises.
There is a final judgment for those separated from God.
God will create a new heaven and earth where righteousness dwells.
